About BombThreat's Anodizing
My name is Scott Fiorino. I live in a small town in New York, known as Mechanicville (it's slightly north of Albany).
I started thinking about doing this in the summer of '04 when I was looking at having my own paintball gun re-anodized.
When I looked into it a little further, I realized that this is probably something I could do myself with the equipment that I already have.
I started experimenting, and after a few weeks I had the basics down on the process.
I anodized my own gun and then started anodizing some guns for a few buddies of mine.
After a while, I started getting a few calls per week from people asking if I could do something for them.
So, I then thought to myself that maybe I could do something with this to make a few extra dollars to pay for my drug....ehrm...paintball addiction. :)
So, here I am with my own website, offering my anodizing service to anyone that is interested.
I do this more as of a hobby than a business...if it were work to me it would not be fun.
I get a lot of enjoyment out of being able to make a paintball gun look spectacular, and having no end to the different designs that are possible.
